Use the Lawrence Hall First Floor Lobby Reservation Request Form to request the Lawrence Hall Lobby for exhibitions or events. Reservation requests must be approved prior to any exhibition or event.

Exhibition details:

The Student Jewelry Sale is a once annual fundraising event held by the Jewelry Department in November as part of their Production class. Intermediate/Advanced students are given the opportunity to design and showcase a line of production jewelry and sell it, in a real world setting with on the ground feedback from their peers and the public. Half of the proceeds benefit the student designers and the other half benefits the Jewelry department to support course purchases through the year. A majority of the pieces for sale are priced under $50 each, challenging students to employ craftsmanship while sticking to a budget. Students may price a few more elaborate pieces higher, but may not exceed $200. This is a fun, rewarding event that also acts as our big outreach event of the year, attracting much interest and enrollment into our future course offerings. Table displays will be installed the evening prior on November 12th, and painted onsite. The event will occupy one wing of the Lawrence Hall lobby, and run from 9am-4pm. With final takedown completed by around 5pm. We will clean up completely following this event and don’t anticipate leaving any marks or debris upon vacating the premises.
