Use the Lawrence Hall First Floor Lobby Reservation Request Form to request the Lawrence Hall Lobby for exhibitions or events. Reservation requests must be approved prior to any exhibition or event.

Ocean Bowl

Exhibition start date: April 8, 2019 beginning at 10:30 AM
Exhibition end date: April 8, 2019 ending at 3:30 PM
Exhibition take down dates: April 8, 2019 – April 9, 2019

Exhibition details:

A ceramics class at the University of Oregon has partnered with the Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve to raise awareness surrounding the oceanic waste epidemic. The class has created ocean-inspired bowls that will temporarily harbor and aid in plastic removal from Oregon’s beaches. 100% of proceeds from selling the Ocean Bowls will go directly to the Surfrider Foundation (- allies with the Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve), a non-profit focused on preserving the world’s marine environment. The event in Lawrence would happen from 10:30-3:30 on Monday of April 8th. We plan to set up tables to set the bowls on, and sell the work to people walking through the building.
